International Symposium on Hitachi Fund Support for Research Related to Infectious Diseases

Initiatives and Insights Learned in Infectious Disease Control from the COVID-19 Pandemic Experience (Hybrid Event)

This symposium has concluded.
We plan to make the archive available by the end of March. Please stay tuned.

The Hitachi Global Foundation established the "Hitachi Fund Support for Research Related to Infectious Diseases" in 2020 with donations from Hitachi, Ltd., its executives, employees, and group company executives. The fund aims to academically investigate, analyze, and consider various issues that emerged in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic based on evidence, and to share these findings internationally. Five research projects were selected for funding.
The research activities were conducted for three years starting from December 2021. To disseminate our findings broadly to the public, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting an international symposium.
