the Hitachi Global Foundation is our programs to respond to social needs together with the experience and knowledge of the Hitachi Group in the Foundation’s three key areas, namely “Promotion of Academic Research, Science and Technology,” “Human Development” and “Realization of an Inclusive Society” while inheriting the passion and philosophy of the founders of the five organizations, where the devotion of Hitachi’s foundations all started.
We will, with a perspective of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), improve the quality of life and realize a better society in the long term.
We support pioneering research in the fields of natural sciences, engineering and humanities, and recognize R&D efforts in Southeast Asia.
We support nurturing the next generation of human resources who are creative and capable of designing society, especially on STEAM education and nurturing girls in science.
We conduct educational programs to realize an inclusive society where people can feel happy and lively, accepting diverse cultures and values.
